Why should you want to work with me?

This is not your ordinary web developers web site. Oh I have a version of that (click here to view it). And I am not your ordinary web developer. A marketing major in college, I went on to a 28 year career in high tech and software design, ending with a 10 year stint as a Vice President in the technology division of a major US financial institution (where I gained an appreciation for Return on Investment!).

Since launching MediaRight Technologies in 1995, I have developed hundreds of web sites for companies large and small, local and national. It didn't take long for me to realize that having a web site, and having a web site that delivers a profit, are two totally different things. This also rekindled my love of all things marketing related.

Over the last few years I have focused all of my attention on Web Site Traffic Generation and Web Site Traffic Conversion. I have purchased, and mastered, all of the major search engine marketing tools. I have studied, and worked with, some of the top Internet Marketers picking up their time-tested tips and strategies. And I keep up with this stuff - weekly - I just love it that my career and interests have converged.

Frankly, I am putting most of these incredible techniques to work for myself. Why not? If your web site already does a great job of presenting you in the best light but you just don't get any traffic - it may be as simple as some behind the scenes changes to get you top search engine rankings.

Step 1 is understanding your business objectives. There are many, many techniques. Some work better in some markets than others. Knowing this, and what you want to accomplish leads to the right solutions.

Okay, let's wrap this up. Right now you might have one of these common questions left, that I often hear in the beginning.

1. How do I know this will work for my market?

  • Step one is always analysis of your market. Initial analysis can show how popular AND competitive it is. There are techniques (see CheckChecks.com above) to find out what else your market wants so you can be the go-to web site. Note: It's always better to find a market and give them what they want (fill a pothole) than to have a product and then find a market.
      
  • While there are no guarantees when it comes to search engines and they change all the time, they are just part of the equation. More importantly I will implement tracking technologies that show results, and allow for testing new ideas to see which ones REALLY WORK.
      
  • I am only interested in working with people I can help get measurable results. If initial research shows little likelihood of results I will not do the project.

2. Would I be better off with a big company?

Really only you can decide that. While I have the help of several talented assistants I am personally involved in the planning and execution of every project. That means:

  • When you call you get me. The man with the answers. Not several levels of support people that you have to get through first.
     
  • I am very, very particular about the number and type of projects that I take on. This allows me to give your web site and market the time and focus it requires.

3. How do you work, and what will this cost?

If after initial analysis and consultation (free) we agree that the prospects of my helping you are excellent there are several ways to proceed and services offered.

  • Complete Web Site Design/Redesign with the desired extras.
     
  • Consultation Only. I am happy to work with your existing web master to implement the necessary changes. They get search engine and internet marketing training along the way and I stand by ready to consult.
      
  • Search Engine Optimization Only. Again, working with your webmaster I implement search engine optimization techniques for your existing content, and work with you to add more relevant and keyword-rich content that search engines love. We can also add articles that we have syndicated to your site.
      
  • Complete Search Engine Marketing and Traffic Conversion techniques that will multiply your web sites profits. This special arrangement usually requires that we assume management of your web site as significant changes are usually required. However we can often create "sister sites" or "feeder sites", separate sites developed to drive traffic to your main, or "Money Site".
